That means that you get a slide out keyboard, as well as the 2.8in WQVGA touchscreen, all in a 12.7mm bod', letting you fire off texts and emails in old school fashion. But the new features don't end there. Sammy has also shoehorned in an 8MP camera, with Dual Power LED, autofocus and face detection, letting you upload snaps directly to Facey–B and any other social network you happen to hang out on.
And there's even more. You'll find GPS for geotagging and getting you from A to B, HSDPA for speedy web browsing, Bluetooth 2.1, DivX and XviD support, as well as taking care of every codec your tunes happen to be in. Samsung is billing it as the ultimate music phone, with an easy to use player and up to 16GB of storage via SD.
The same widget style UI found on the original Tocco is present and correct too, with the screen now scratch resistant and a tad more responsive than before. It's due in April on all networks in the fetching red colour you can see up top, with more hues planned for later in 2009.
