Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini incoming?
Invites have gone out for a Samsung event that suggest an S3 Mini reveal on October 11th
Not to be outdone by rumours of an Apple iPad Mini, Samsung is embracing the idea of “small is beautiful” – it’s downsizing its flagship Galaxy S3 phone, with invites going out for a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini event.
The invite for the likely lower spec version of the Galaxy S3 went out in Germany, saying “something small will be really big,” and, “get ready for a little sensation.” The event will take place in the Samsung Mobile Store in Frankfurt on October 11th.
We’re expecting a smaller device than the Galaxy S3, hopefully still with the same resolution screen and camera, plus Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, but likely a dual-core processor and less storage.
Since the UK already has the Samsung Galaxy Mini and Galaxy Mini 2, we’re expecting our invite and a UK launch date soon.
