Take the SIM out of a Samsung Galaxy S II and give the handset a good stretch and you'll find yourself with a Samsung Galaxy S Wi-Fi 5.0. But before you bust out your gadget-torture equipment, head over to Amazon where Sammy's new Android personal media player is on sale for a mere £200.
That's for the 8GB version and you'll have to dig out an extra £20 for 16GB but even so those prices look pretty tasty compared to most 24 month phone contracts. Especially when you consider the optimised VoIP (internet calls), 5in screen, Bluetooth and Android apps on the Galaxy S Wi-Fi 5.0. It is running Android Froyo but Samsung launched the Galaxy S Wi-Fi 3.6 model at IFA with 2.3 Gingerbread so expect an upgrade at some point.
