Samsung Galaxy R gets graphical

Nvidia has stepped up to show what Samsung’s Galaxy screens can really manage when backed up by Tegra 2

The new Samsung Galaxy R has been announced and it’s all about graphics power. It comes armed with an Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core chip that will push the 4.19in screen to its 800 x 480px resolution limits.

Let’s hope the console quality games promised help it do better than the Motorola Atrix did for Nvidia. An average 5MP camera and 8GB of built-in memory don't help it step ahead of the Galaxy S II, but it should be stunningly fast. No clues on a UK release but with it out in Sweden already we're expecting it soon.
