There’s no stopping Samsung’s march to digicam notoriety – just seconds after being introduced to its 10MP compact, this 7MP model strolled in and offered its hand.
It can’t quite match the NV10’s 10MP sensor, although its 7.2MP job is far from a disgrace and is housed by a charming classic body.
The Smart Touch buttons – which act as touch-sensitive keys and standard ‘push’ jobs – promise to be a slick way to get around the menus, and the new Optical Picture Stabilisation (OPS) will apparently provide double anti-shake protection.
Other features of note are the ability to take MP4 video at 30fps, USB charging and that guarantee of a great camera: a luminous blue ring around the lens.
The NV7 will be available for £300, making it the most expensive of the New Vision range.
