Rock Band Unplugged headed for the PSP
PSP gamers who've been feeling a bit left out of all the Rock Band/Guitar Hero hype will be happy to hear that Harmonix hasn't forgotten about Sony's
With Unplugged, you’ll be able to control lead and bass guitars, drums, and somehow, vocals, with just the PSP’s buttons.
Beat match gameplay will be tied up with key elements from previous Rock Band games, and you’ll get a number of fully-fledged game modes to help you channel your inner Van Halen as well.
The game stacks up 40 songs to get your fingers rocking, including nine brand-spankers making their debut on the PSP first, before being offered up as DLC for console versions.
These include Blink 182’s What’s My Age Again?, ABC by the Jackson 5 and Alice in Chains’ Would?
To top this all off nicely, there will also be an in-game store for you to update your Rock Band library, as and when you feel the need for an injection of new tracks.
The game will be on our shelves from 9 June with a price tag of £24.99, but will the thrill be the same without the peripherals to rock out with? Let us know what you think below…
