Not content with asking fans to set their own price for In Rainbows, Thom Yorke and his, er "merry" men have teamed up with iTunes and GarageBand to invite fans to remix Nude, the second single from the album.

Here's the deal – you have to buy five separate tracks that make up Nude – bass, voice, guitar, strings/effects and drums – from iTunes Plus. You'll then be sent an access code to continue with your remix via GarageBand or Logic.

Your creation can then be uploaded to Radioheadremix.com. The winner is decided by an open vote on the site and bedroom Steve Albinis have until 1 May to enter their masterpiece. You can also create a widget to tally up your votes.

It's all very Music 2.0 and a great way to get fans involved in your work, but having to buy FIVE tracks from iTunes? Cynical cash cow or trailblazing initiative? What do you think?
