The original PSP was a wonder of multimedia technology but, let's face it, a bit of a bloater in the ergonomics department. But now we've just a little while longer to wait for the new, slimmed down PSP because Sony's taken a permanent marker to its wall calendar and penned in 5th September for the European launch. It'll be arriving in black, white and silver but for a limited time it'll also be available in two special editions. They'll be decked out in Simpsons and Spiderman colours - yellow for Homer fans and red and black for followers of Peter Parker. Each will come bundled with, appropriately enough, either Electronic Arts' The Simpsons Game or Activision's Spider-Man 3 but as an extra treat, the Spidey PSP will also come with a copy of the Spider-Man 3 film tucked into the box - on UMD, natch.Get them while they're hot, because they won't be hanging around for long.EssentialsSony PSP Slim & Lite, Simpsons, Spider-Man 3Price: €170, €200, €200On sale: 5th September Contact: SonyRelated stories:Early 2008 for Sky on your PSPNew PSP Slim & Lite announcedSony PSP 'lite' on the way?
