PS4 will let you access all your games from any console

Sony's next-gen console games will follow you around like a loyal pooch who wants to play fetch all the time

Sony's R&D leader Neil Brown has confirmed that you'll be able to access your entire digital games library from any PS4 console that you're logged into.

Thanks to the PS4's self-explanatory Play As You Download feature, you'll be able to pop round to your mate's house and jump straight into the action without carting around your discs – leaving more room in your bag for Mountain Dew, Doritos and any other stereotypical gaming paraphernalia.

Of course you're still welcome to carry physical discs around and can install games to other PS4 console hard drives – though you'll need to keep the disc inside to play.
