Sony’s new PlayStation Store for PC has flung open its doors with one mission in mind – to fill your PSP’s guts with every game, movie trailer and demo you could possibly crave. It’s basically a PSP version of the PS3 Store – you can use your existing login for the PC store if you’re already registered – that lets you download new content for your portable gaming pal.Exclusive stuff to the new download den includes versions of existing PSP games B-Boy, Go! Sudoku and Fired Up and a few retro PS One games including Crash Bandicoot, WipEout and Cool Boarders.Quite why Sony hasn’t gone all out and launched over-the-air downloads via Wi-Fi is something of a puzzler but it certainly seems like the beginning of the end for UMD discs. So, who’d miss it? Anyone?Essentials PlayStation Store Contact: PlayStation Store Related stories: PS3 sees surge in console war Sony hits out at PS3 failure reports Sony update remote starts your PS3
