Being pelted with calls to your VOIP computer and mobile phone can tie your arms in knots as you switch between devices, but Plantronics has a solution – this Skype-friendly Bluetooth headset.

The Voyager 510’s clever feature is its compatibility with all the big softphones – the VOIP software on your computer – including Avaya, Cisco and Skype, as well as AOL, MSN and Yahoo!’s instant messaging services.

All you do is plug the Bluetooth adaptor into your computer or laptop’s USB port – no installation is required – and you’ll be able to take VOIP calls without fiddling around with a call centre headset.

Even better, pressing a button will then switch to incoming calls on your Bluetooth mobile phone. That coveted ‘most calls taken’ trophy at work could finally be yours.

The microphone has noise-cancelling tech to cut out background noise and it’ll give you a decent 6 hours of talk time from a charge.

Interested? The Voyager 510 is out now for €130 (£90) – go to Plantronics’ site or call 0800 587 2915 for your nearest stockist.
