Now don’t get us wrong, we love wowing our gadget-shy housemates, grandparents and pets with the wonders of streaming. It just seems that Philips loves it even more.

They’ve just cranked out yet another of their belting Streamium devices, christening the latest beast to bust out of Eindhoven the WACS7500.

Specs wise, we’re looking at a similar deal to last year’s 3500D HiFi system, with 80GB ready and waiting for 1500 CDs, which will rip automatically when you slip slide them in.

Tunage can be streamed to five separate WAS7500 stations dotted about your gaff, either straight from the hard drive or via your PC.

The killer addition though is access to web radio, with the Big P getting BlueBeat and Live365 on board so you can access their stations as soon as you get the Streamium home.

Design wise, the WACS7500 knocks spots off its older siblings, with new tweeters and an in-built subwoofer to boot. It also comes toting the same SuperScroll system you’ll find on their MP3 players. No sniggering at the back there please.
