Panny's first foray into the European smartphone arena will land next month with a sleek design and waterproof body

Panasonic has announced its first entry into the European smartphone market, the Panasonic Eluga, will be released in April following its March 29th release in its home country of Japan.

The 7.8mm thin Panasonic Eluga will arrive packing a 4.3in 256ppi qHD OLED screen, 8MP camera, 1Ghz dual-core processor and a unique waterproof design.

We were told during our Panasonic Eluga hands on review at Mobile World Congress that it'll receive an Ice Cream Sandwich update this Summer, and although no specific release date or pricing information has been revealed, you can already pre-order one for £500 from mobi-city if you so desire.
