The iPhone–bothering blower will hit shelves in US stores on the first Saturday in June, just as predicted. In a statement, it said it would be up for grabs, "for $199.99 with a two-year service agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate."
That's certainly not a bargain, but with a 3.1in touchscreen, 3G, GPS, 3MP camera, and slide-out QWERTY keyboard, it’s certainly got all the features needed to give Apple plenty of bother.
And you can bet the cats at Cupertino will be livid, especially as this should nicely gazump their planned iPhone announcement on 8 June.
The Touchstone charger will also be available for US punters, costing $70. The bad news? Our contacts at Palm are still saying there's no word on when extacly it'll launch here. Word is it'll be in our grasp come the end of the year.
