They’ve already galloped out of HTC’s stable under the guise of ‘TyTN’, and now Orange has snared one of these lovely 3G animals with a view to offering it to the world as the M3100.
The Windows Mobile 5.0 smartphone is listed as ‘coming soon’ on the Orange website, and this is very good news considering it’s checks virtually every entry on our phone wishlist.
There’s Wi-Fi, for starters, which will not only let you surf the web in hotspots, but offers the possibility of free VoIP calls. If you’re outside Wi-Fi coverage, you can always turn to 3G to watch some streamed TV or listen to the on-board radio.

Its final effort to convince you that it’s more of a sub-notebook than a phone comes in the form of a QWERTY keyboard, which should lift it alongside the O2 XDA Exec and its predecessor, the T-Mobile MDA Vario. Look out for a hands-on as soon as, well, we can get our hands on one.
