HTC has already opened up and let us know we can expect their top–end HTC Touch HD from 6 November. But now Orange has weighed in, letting us Stuffers know that they'll be flogging the phone exclusively.
Having already bagged the Nokia XpressMusic 5800, this is another touchscreen coup for the French phone fanciers, although there limited all–you–can–eat web plans might leave data freaks sweating about their mobile bills.
The spec sheet reads like a dream though – massive 3.8in screen, 5MP camera, HSDPA and HTC's TouchFlo tech. The only let down? It's got Windows Mobile under the hood.
The deal with Orange is set to run until 2009 and it won't come cheap either. You'll need to stump up £79.99 for the phone, sign up to an 18 month deal and hand over £40 every month after that. That does include your web browsing, but Orange is offering a frankly derisory 250MB limit. Come on guys, we need to be online all the time with a phone like this.
We'll be getting ours soon, but while you wait, check out our hands–on vid of the HTC Touch Diamond.
