After experimenting with black versions and slide-out keyboards, O2's gone back to its Xda roots with the Argon.Looking unnervingly like the 2002 smartphone original (sans stubby aerial and packing a lot less weight) it's now grown a 2MP camera and a bog standard 3.5in QVGA display. It's only Windows Mobile 5.0, rather than the latest 6.0, but it does manage Microsoft's Messaging and Security Feature Pack, which includes Blackberry-style direct push email for corporate types with Microsoft Exchange Server. There's no 3G either, but an optional CoPilot Live pack with Bluetooth GPS will turn it into a fully functioning sat-nav.O2's got the exclusive on the HTC-made phone 'til July, when it'll likely roll out as a T-Mobile MDA or Orange SPV rebadge job. Until then, you’ll find it in O2 stores.
