There could be fighting in the aisles this Christmas if fears of an Xbox 360 shortage are proved true.
A major online retailer has told Stuff that there are concerns over the number of consoles being delivered to the UK in time for the machine's 2nd December launch.
Microsoft won't detail the number of consoles that'll be available over here, but one head honcho described stock fears as 'kinda BS' at last week's Xbox extravaganza in Amsterdam. MCV magazine is suggesting 200,000 boxes will be in the UK for launch.
The potential shortages are a result of Microsoft's bold bid to give the console a near-simultaneous global launch. Traditionally - we refer you to the PSP - we get games consoles several months after the US and Japan.
As a Stuff reader, however, you have no need to fear. Whatever happens, you can be one of the first in the UK to see the Xbox 360 at the Best of Show in London, 4-6th November.
