Fiendish Finnish trademark database divers have uncovered a list of new handset names trademarked by Nokia.

The nosey parkers also uncovered plans for a "Nokia Money" service (following in the footsteps of O2 foray into financial services perhaps?) and Booklet, a possible name for Nokia's planned range of netbooks.

The revelation of some new handset numbers wouldn't usually be that interesting, Nokia nabs names with E and N prefixes al the time but two new trademarks were lurking in there - the X Series and the C Series.

The designations suggest Nokia is planning two new lines. It's likely that the rather ordinary sounding C Series will be home to fairly functional handsets like the Nokia 6700 Classic while the X Series will be the place for more powerful smartphones. It's likely that the excitingly named X Series could be the home of the latest version of the Symbian OS.

These little trademark tidbits don't really tell us enough to know what Nokia's really planning next. But we'll be at Nokia World and will be bringing you all the news of the Finnish phone giant's future plans.

What does Nokia need to do to please you?
