Nokia Lumia 710 hits shelves, but UK may have to wait until 2012

The Finns' second serving of Windows phone goodness may be with us next month

Nokia has announced that the Lumia 710 is filling Taiwanese shelves from today, after which it will travel across Singapore, Hong Hong, India and Russia over the next seven days.

The 3.7in, 5MP camera-toting Lumia 710 is the more wallet-friendly alternative to Nokia's flagship Lumia 800 and will appeal to the accessory crowd with its interchangeable back covers.

Priced at €270, there's no official UK release date or pricetag yet – although as previously reported, it's listed as having a January 6 release date over at Digital Phone.

This doesn't sound too far fetched, given that Nokia itself has stated that the global rollout of the handset will continue over the next coming weeks.
