Nokia and Microsoft Windows phone reveal this month

Nokia and Microsoft may get the Mango party started this month

Ever since Nokia announced its tag team operation with Microsoft, all thoughts immediately spring to Nokia's first Windows Phone 7 Mango handset, codenamed Sea Ray, whenever their names are uttered in the same sentence. This time, though, we may be right on the money.

An invitation from both Microsoft and Nokia, inviting a bunch of journos to a press event on August 17 during Gamescom, suggests this day has been reserved to finally unleash their highly anticipated Mango-flavoured collaboration.

The aquatically named Sea Ray made its debut appearance back in June, to reveal a curvaceous Nokia N9-esque design, AMOLED screen and 8MP snapper, complete with shutter button. Since then a quick hands-on video made it online to whet our appetites and ensure anticipation is at an all time high. Hopefully, though, we'll be getting up close and personal with the real thing very soon.
