Big names coming to both platforms include Pro Evo Soccer (on March 11 for Wii and a month later in handheld guise) and old-school haunted house revival Alone In The Dark (which also lands in March, along with the PS3, 360 and PC versions).
We'll also finally get our hands on the Wii trio announced at E3 in Santa Monica last July. Wii Fit star-jumps into stores, complete with various exercise accessories, before the end of June. Super Smash Bros Brawl is down for March 9, while Mario Kart Wii (pictured) is scheduled to follow six weeks later. The latter will come with its own steering wheel for the Wii remote, include an online multiplayer mode and – in GTA stylee – will have added motorbikes.
Not to be outdone, the DS is getting Crusades epic Assassins Creed: Altair's Chronicles next month. But mainly we're trembling for the gorgeous-looking Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Rings of Fate to arrive on March 11, with up to four players questing over Wi-Fi. Let's just pencil out the rest of March for that one, shall we?
