First, thanks to the SwitchEasy RunAway, we discovered we could use Nike+iPod without a pair of Nike trainers. Now it appears we could soon ditch the iPod as well and be left with, er, Nike. This picture momentarily appeared on the new Nike Store Europe site shortly after going live on Monday night. It's apparently of an as yet unannounced Speed+ watch. The accompanying blurb read: ‘See time fly. The Nike Speed+ watch tells you exactly how far you’ve come while you log mile after mile.’'Say, isn't that what I do?' Nano might nervously ask. Well, yes, it is little fella. In fact Speed+ does away with the Nano side of the sports kit altogether, managing to receive the signal from the transmitter in your pounding Moires, display all the calorie-smashing data on its screen, and then beam it to a PC at the end of your run via a USB dongle. There's now no sign of the watch on the Nike website but if earlier rumours of another watch, the Amp+, that works with the iPod are to believed, it could be just the start of a whole new line up of Nike+ accessories.
