Now here’s a recipe for drunk, financially–based mobile disaster. Nike has just launched it’s new PhotoID scheme, which lets you send picture messages to the sneaker giant, who will then return an image of the classic high–top Dunk’s plastered in your handiwork. Before working up a sweat about garish, early 90s–style trainers cluttering your inbox, you can rest assured that Nike will pick out the main two colours from the image, rather than just slapping on the original. But here’s the financial rub – if you like your design, you can buy them. So if you’ve had a night out talking trainers with your trendy mates and wind up with a new pair arriving in the post, don’t be surprised. You can find out more over on NikeID.co.uk. Nike says this is ideal for capturing street art and the like. To be honest, I quite enjoy the idea of fellow Stuffers gurning on a work night out being slathered onto a pair. As long as they’re not mine, of course.
