Sammy's latest slither of interactive screen tech is ready to grace your living room

If you’ve been patiently waiting for Samsung’s stunning ES8000 telly to bless your living room with its sleek and shiny presence then you’ll be glad to hear that it’s now available in the UK, along with the rest of Samsung’s 2012 LED and Plasma Smart TV series.

Featuring an ultra-thin 5mm bezel and face recognition, plus cutting-edge voice and motion control, the sleek 3D-ready ES8000 and its fellow Smart TV counterparts will land with a host of apps, including Twitter and Facebook.

An included IR blaster lets you command other kit (like a Sky box), with your voice, leaving your hands free to tinker with the included touchpad remote.

If you fancy nabbing Samsung’s latest tech-packed telly for yourself then you’ll be needing £2,500 of your hard-earned cash and a free afternoon to acquaint yourself with your new rectangular best friend.
