[intro]XLeague.tv aims to reinvent the video game show[/intro]
There's a new video games channel launching on Sky next month. It's called XLeague.tv, and the idea is that the core entertainment comes not from reviews of games, but from participating in and watching competitive rounds of multiplayer video games.
For a monthly payment of £6.99, subscribers to XLeague.tv will be able to enter all available tournaments and get stuck in to ongoing open play challenges, either as individuals or as part of a club. Competitive matches will be recorded, complete with commentary, and broadcast on the XLeague.tv channel, along with news, reviews and magazine-style shows.
If you fancy a bit of eSport, check out xleague.tv to find out more. Well, maybe bookmark it for now and come back a bit later when the website goes live later this month.
