Keeping one step ahead of the speed cameras has just got a whole lot easier. Road Angel's latest licence saver can now download updates on the fly without ever having to venture near a USB cable and a PC.By giving it its own Orange SIM card it can receive info on any snarl-ups plus any new speed camera locations – including those fiendishly covert mobile vans.Naturally it's all to remind you to stay safe rather than a licence to drive recklessly but we'd like it on our dash all the same – especially as it doubles as a nice 4in-screened sat-nav.Look out for the price though – a hefty £500 with £5 a month subscription. Of course that’s still cheaper than losing your licence, as the old slogan goes. Damn those clever marketeers.EssentialsRoad Angel Navigator 9000Price: £500 + £5/mthOn sale: JulyContact: Road AngelRelated stories:Wayfinder's mobile licence saverNew TomToms redraw the mapThe cheap alternative to a Road Angel
