It seems that Apple is poised to unleash a new edition of its MacBook upon the world. A Vietnamese tech site claims to have got its mitts on the plastic-bodied entry-level notebook, and posted lots of snaps to prove it.

While the MacBook looks outwardly the same as the current model and offers the same 2GB of memory and 7-hour battery, the leak pictures suggest it boasts a similar level of spec to the 13-inch aluminium MacBook Pro: Intel Core 2 Duo processor at 2.4GHz, 250GB hard drive and GeForce 320M graphics card.

We’ll keep a beady eye peeled for more MacBook news in the coming days. If this leak is on the money, it suggests Apple’s slab of plastic lappy loveliness will be getting a refresh any minute now…
