New Olympus SZ-10 hopes to best other bridge cameras

Can this compact super-zoom reach past its long-lensed competition?

The Olympus SZ-10 wants to take the bridge camera crew by the scruff of their shutters.

Olympus claims the 18x zoom – not massive by bridge camera standards any more – is nevertheless about as big as you can get in such a compact camera.

It takes 14-megapixel snaps and is capable of 3D shooting from the single lens. Looks pretty hot, too.

Available this month for £200, in black or silver.
