Netflix will start streaming BBC content in 2012

The Beeb joins in on the streaming giant's UK party

Netflix has announced that a range of BBC content will be available to stream for members in the UK and Ireland from early next year.

Users will be able to access the programmes via their PCs, tablets, consoles and smartphones, ensuring that your Beeb-fix will never be more than a few button clicks away.

Other BBC shows confirmed for Netflix include Little Britain, Fawlty Towers and Miss Marple, a combination that will make for a very eclectic night in of couch surfing indeed.
