Once you've tasted sat-nav it's hard to go back, but many who tentatively shell out for a budget model often find themselves itching for a few extra features. Something that’s not a problem with Navman's new extensions to its Freedom range. It's taken the bargain-priced F20 and added modules for Bluetooth calling, TMC traffic info, or both. So now you can turn the F20 into an F30 simply by adding a TMC receiver to get you round jams with no extra subscription to pay.Or how about turning it into an F40? That's the base unit plus a Bluetooth hands free box (pictured). Or for the ultimate, it has to be the F50, which gets completely pimped out with both TMC and Bluetooth add-ons.Buy the kit separately or splurge all in one go – safe in the knowledge that the add-on units can be removed and tacked on to any Freedom sat-nav. Good work Navman.
