It’s a busy old day for the Apple iPhone. Not only is it the official launch of the iPhone SDK over in sunny Cupertino later on today, but across the Atlantic in, er cloudy Hanover, a prototype GPS navigation system for Stuff’s number one mobile has just hit our radar.

Made by Nav N Go – the people who brought us sat-nav for the PSP in the form of iGO My Way 8 – the iPhone version is pleasingly similar, sporting 3D graphics and turn-by-turn navigation.

Location tracking is taken care of by either a Wi-Fi key or plug-in dongle that fits straight into the docking port, receiving and re-transmitting the GPS data. Now, where's the nearest Starbucks?
