Native Gmail app is on its way to iOS

Google has its crosshairs aimed at Apple's app store

Google’s Gmail app could find its way on to your iHomescreen in the very near future – assuming it gets the green light from Apple of course.

Google has already submitted the app to Apple for review, according to MG Siegler, and the chances of it being approved are – apparently – likely.

So what can we expect from a Google-made iOS Gmail app? Touted features so far are priority inbox filtering, push notification and one-click message starring, all of which will no doubt appeal to loyal Googleites.
