MWC 2011 – Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 arrives to take on iPad

Samsung's new tablet packs a 10.1-inch screen and Android 3.0

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is here, and it's yet another to add to the horde of Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablets facing up to the Apple iPad.

Under the hood is a dual-core Tegra 2 processor, and a choice of 16GB or 32GB of storage. The front-facing camera is 5MP, while there's a more serious 8MP snapper round the back. It weighs 599g and is 10.9mm thick.

Oh, and in case you hadn't guessed, the 10.1 bit is the size of the screen in inches.

We'll be bringing you hands-on pics in the flashiest of flashes.
