Give a random typing monkey a keyboard and enough time and he can bash out the next best-seller. Hell, the entire publishing industry relies on it. Now Tegic, those chaps responsible for text-tapping miracle T9, has decided to apply Emile Borel's comment on infinity to creating a chart-topping hit.The idea is simple. People text in a single random word and inspired lyrics are plucked from the strings of text. Eventually the lines will be combined to form a complete song. Words that make it into the track will be credited to their 'authors' who will also receive a slice of the royalties when it's released.Hip-hop slash electronica slash power-pop producer-turned-musician, Sparo, is the man tying the lyrical muesli together. He's promising, 'it will be psychedelic but accessible, with a nice piano sample.' Apparently along the lines of 'Gorrilaz meets Gnarls Barkley'.The results are already proving interesting. Shortlisted musings include: 'Is Genius wired And Fired Loverschoose Fear Notpain' and 'RabbitRabbit Chaz and Dave Sleaze Paranoia Chimplove'.To take part just text your word to 07797 801 003 (standard network charge).
