We worship the iPod and the RAZR because they changed the face of gadgets. It's icons like this that have elevated thechnology from the preserve of sweaty dork to people with friends and no personal hygiene issues. But the question now arises – are the geeks losing their ground? Pink phones we can take, but flower-shaped speakers? In any case, the 2.1 Spyro system features neodymium drivers, MAPS distortion suppression and computer-optimised EQ: they mean the sonic business. Can't quite stomach the design? Try the Spot, which is much the same, but with a subtler design, instead. Both use a 3.5mm stereo jack to get their music, and so are universally compatible.
