Motorola has announced that Android 2.1, first debuted on the Nexus One, will be rolling out to Droid customers in the States this week.
The news was announced via the company's official Facebook page, but while it teased saying there would be "more information to share on other device upgrades later" there was no mention on when the Droid's UK-equivalent, the Milestone, would be getting the update.
We spoke to Motorola earlier, but they gave us the whole "no comment" spiel so we're no closer to knowing when, or if, we'll see it on this side of the pond. We'd suspect it's more a case of the former than the latter though.
We'll of course bring you updates when we have them, but any American Droid owners reading can expect to see the update delivered over the air sometime from this week onwards.
