Teenagers are social creatures who tend to do crazy things. We're thinking ad hoc parties, extreme sports and farming spots. Motorola thinks they need a phone to help them through those hormonal years, hence the Wilder, a no-nonsense socially-orientated phone that serves up the hard-hitting trio of Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, encased in a splash and dust-resistant body. Sure, the 2.8in screen and 2MP camera are pretty low spec, but so is the price of this pocket rebel, which is available from the Carphone Warehouse from July for £50. You can barely get a shipment of Clearasil for that these days.
