A couple of weeks ago, Motorola gave us the nod that it might have something 'a little bit special' up its sleeve for the impending Z8 – and here it is.And if we were bobbing up and down like hungry chicks for its HSDPA super swift net speeds and funky neon green accents, we’re now frothing with even more ravenous excitement on being told about its new 'kick-sliding' feature.Yes, never mind its many HSDPA, 2MP camera, microSD, A2DP and Symbian smartphone talents, because this has a slider that glides out in a curve to fit the side of your face. Thanks to a hinge in the rear it goes from flat to bendy in less than a second – although why this demands a picture of Johnny Depp we're not sure.It is, though, nothing less than the return of the banana/Matrix phone. A new high-tech handset to take up the mantle from Keanu Reeves' legendary Nokia 8110 and for that we can excuse it anything. Thank you Motorola, thank you.Our intrepid news editor and all-round nice guy, Will Findlater, is on patrol at 3GSM right now, so keep reading the Live Stuff blog for his latest discoveries from Barcelona.
