You may remember we featured the all new Mini John Cooper Works as a Hot Stuff at the end of last year. Well, the time has come for the car to be launched, and to promote it Mini has created an interactive video with 12 cameras around different points of the car, offering 25 different camera views.
Those cameras include GoPros, Panasonic Lumix GH4s, Sony FS5 HD cameras and a DJI drone camera. A camera was even attached to a nodding bulldog at the back, to give you a dog’s eye view. Bless.
Information such as speed, G-Force, altitude and torque can be seen at the bottom of the video, to give you an idea of just how obscenely fast the new Mini is. Although, the fact it was driven by Niki Faulkner, who’s driven in Rush and the next Mission: Impossible film, may have a little bit to do with that.
The video above is the linear version, for the full interactive experience, click here .
The Mini John Cooper Works features a 2.0 litre four-cylinder engine with TwinPower Turbo Technology, which allows it to reach 62mph in just 6.3 seconds, and go on to a top speed of 153mph.
It'll be available from May, starting at £23,050.
