Fast giving the iPod a run for its ability to generate rumour stories, Zune has apparently been 'revealed' in all its glory.

In this case, iLounge is the site claiming knowledge that could only come from a hands-on with Microsoft's music and video player, and it's experience allegedly reveals a slick-looking interface, fatter-than-Pod proportions and FM radio.

US gadget blog Gizmodo, meanwhile, has published a photo that it says was leaked from a Microsoft employee. It shows the same, slightly over-sized and ugly, player that's been circulating on the internet for several months now.

In response, Zune's Insider blogger has dismissed both the snap and features, deriding them as 'rumour and speculation'. He doesn't go as far, however, as to deny the photos and features are based on a real Zune player, and we suspect this may be an unfortunate (or very deliberate) leak from Microsoft.
