The Microsoft Courier is actually more than a tablet. With two 7in screens, it's more like a digital book. Both screens have multi-touch and will work with both fingers and a stylus.
Microsoft Courier's two screens are hinged with a home button at the centre for returning to menus. There's a camera in the back and built-in WiFi. Gizmodo speculates that the device may charge on an inductive pad.
The Microsoft Courier is still only a prototype but Microsoft is clearly investing a lot of time and effort in developing it. If this doesn't go head-to-head with Apple's Mac Tablet, we'll be very surprised.
