Another day, another MP3 player from the Far East, but the cute as a button Meizu looks as if it could win a place in even our icy, gadget-jaded hearts. It looks (almost) as good as Apple’s wee iPod, but is also able to sink its teeth into lossless audio and video formats. That means FLAC and OGG flavours go down well, as does XviD movie clips – mmm, open-source. And while the 2GB, 4GB and 8GB flavours that’ll hit our shores this summer may not be large enough to hold your entire DVD collection, it’ll be fine for a few instalments of DVD-quality Lovejoy.UK prices have yet to be announced, but in the US they’ll go for $65, $80 and $120 respectively.
