Analysts Forrester Research have looked at credit card sales over the past 27 months and discovered a little secret that Apple would much rather keep quiet; iTunes sales are falling faster than Britney Spears on a night out.Since January this year, monthly revenue from Apple’s store has fallen by 65 per cent. And it might not end there – the slump could also spread to the digital download market as a whole. The big brains at Forrester suggest the blame could be laid at the DRM door, with buyers unhappy about their purchases being so strictly controlled by Apple after the company’s taken their cash. Time for a rethink Apple and co?
