There are two HDMI inputs to slot things into, all compatible with every flavour of hi-def known to man (that’s 720p, 1080i, and 1080p to you). We’re mightily impressed. It’s certainly a contender for the Stuff Playroom’s cinema receiver of choice. And did we mention the remote? Rounding things off nicely is the programmable learning remote control, making the SR5001 the ‘digital hub’ of your home entertainment system, or some such.
