You can’t switch on your telly at the moment without getting bombarded with info about Freesat. And while the offer of some gratis HD might seem tempting, it appears the majority of you aren’t so keen.
53 per cent of those who answered last week’s Tech Tickler said they weren’t sold on the free satellite service. Presumably laying out for the dish, receiver and installation is still a bridge to far. That or Sky HD and all its sports offerings is just, well, better.
Still 47 per cent are up for it. To be fair, we’re with the minority here. Watching the Olympics and Euro 2008 in hi–def, safe in the knowledge you’re not filling Sky’s ample coffers, sounds pretty darn good to us.
Stay tuned to Stuff.tv for tomorrow’s Tech Tickler to be in with the chance to win an exclusive howies tee. And be sure to let us know your thoughts about Freesat in the comments section.
