Mac OS X Lion USB coming soon

What? No Thunderbolt flash key? Spare yourself a download with Apple's OS-on-a-stick

If you happen to live in a hut/cave/abandoned mine with no internet connection, or simply yearn for the nostalgic touch of something a bit more physical than a digital download then Apple has you covered. Come August you’ll be able to order a USB flash drive loaded up with the 4GB Mac OS X Lion update which was unveiled and released yesterday. The downside for this tangibility is the price – £55 – a hefty mark-up on the £20.99 download. Still, we should all be used to the odd Apple tax by now and the company will undoubtedly be shifting plenty of Lion-laden sticks next month regardless.
