The folks at Motorola are a naughty bunch. Not content with having created one of the finest fashion phones known to man, the RAZR, they had to go and create a pink version. The result: more pink mobiles, this time from Nokia and LG on T-Mobile and just in time for Valentine’s gifts.

The Nokia 6111 (above left) is our pick of the pair by a gadget mile. A slider phone in the tradition of the classic Siemens SL55 and the more recent Samsung D600, it crams in virtually everything aside from smartphone powers. Namely: Bluetooth, a tasty 262k colour screen, MP3 player, FM radio and a low rent 1MP camera.

Although the pink version is only available on T-Mobile, it’s worth noting that if you pick the silver edition up on O2, you’ll be able to take advantage of the phone’s Visual Radio talents [story here].

The LGC3300, on the other hand, is a basic clamshell that’s light on features but also pleasantly light in the pocket in every sense.

Both are available later this week on pay as you go – the Nokia’s £180 and the LG is £60. You can also pick up the Nokia 6111 for cheaper on a monthly contract.
