A new army of LG flat panel displays marched into Paris this week. The French immediately waved their white flag and ran for the hills, but Stuff was there to get the lowdown.
The LP1 series really caught our covetous eye; it includes an XD-Engine chip to convert analogue signals into high-definition levels, has a built-in digibox and will be available in 32in and 37in guises.

The picture quality was very impressive, helped by the 'Film Filter' which gives a viewing angle of almost 180 degrees, and it comes with a lovely silver-black finish.

Prices are £1699 for the 32LP1 and £2499 for the 37LP1, and they'll be available in DSG Group shops and Comet between May and June.
