If LG's dual HD player for the living room's got your hi-def juices flowing you'll also be wanting to think about your computer, still sat there with its old DVD burner. But which flavour to choose? Opting for one over the other could leave you with a Betamax-style duffer, while fitting both Blu-ray and HD DVD could be more costly than a dinner date at the Ivy with a girl who eats diamond sandwiches.Thankfully, LG's thought of everything and announced the Super Multi Blue. Taking up just one drive bay it'll swallow and play both types of disc. Perfect if you've just invested in one of Nvidia's new hi-def friendly 8-Series graphics cards or Evesham's new Nvidia-packing desktop. The one hitch is that it'll only burn to BD discs or DVDs – that and it's probably going to cost as much as an entire PC to buy. Better start saving.
